This self-guided trail lets you explore the natural surroundings of Hotel Las Torres at your own pace, with no guide or advance booking needed. The route is easy and takes about an hour and a half, featuring five stations, lookout points, bridges, boardwalks, and interpretive panels along the way.

As you walk the Interpretive Trail, you’ll cross wetlands and take in views of Cerro Paine and Monte Almirante Nieto. Keep an eye out for native birds and trees like the ñirre, and learn about the area’s geomorphology and how its glaciers were formed.

The trail’s infrastructure was built using nine tons of recycled plastic collected from across Chile, underscoring the educational and sustainable spirit of the experience. After rainfall, some sections may be muddy or waterlogged, so sturdy footwear, ideally waterproof, is recommended.
