Preventive Alert – Base Torres Trail

March 25, 2026
Torres del Paine National Park, Magallanes, Chile

Las Torres Patagonia informs that restrictions have been established for access to the Base Torres trail. Entry with a certified guide is mandatory from March 26 to March 27 (inclusive). Additionally, visitors must carry trekking poles, microspikes, and appropriate clothing.

These measures are due to a weather system expected to affect the area, with forecasted precipitation, winds that could reach up to 90 km/h, and conditions that increase the risk of landslides and rockfalls, according to information from SENAPRED and SERNAGEOMIN.

The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority, and these decisions aim to prevent risk in highly exposed areas.

Our team is available to reorganize activities and adjust itineraries as needed, ensuring that each experience remains within safe conditions.

We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our guests and encourage everyone to stay informed through official channels.
