Las Torres Patagonia notifies closure of O Circuit while search operations are carried out in the park

Torres del Paine, November 18, 2025. Following the emergency declared by the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) after three people went missing in Torres del Paine National Park, and pursuant the resolution of the Disaster Risk Management Committee (COGRID) under the leadership of the Provincial Presidential Delegate, CONAF has decided to temporarily close the section between the Dickson and Paso campsites on the O Circuit.

This measure seeks to aid search, rescue, and evacuation efforts, which will remain in effect until the specialized agencies have completed operations and the severe weather conditions currently impacting the area have improved.

In accordance with this measure by CONAF, Las Torres Patagonia asks all visitors to respect these instructions, and appreciates the understanding of those currently on the O Circuit, or preparing to embark on the route.

All reservations for Las Torres Patagonia programs involving this section will be seen to by company representatives to make the necessary changes to confirmed itineraries.

As for the W Circuit, all trails and accommodations remain open and operating normally.
