What is there to enjoy?

Las Torres

Among the most famous mountains in the world, these three granite peaks soar into the sky at 2850m (9350ft), 2800m (9200ft), and 2600m (8500ft). Shaped by sheer glacial force, these are the impressive towers that give the park its name.

Los Cuernos

These three mountains compete with Torres del Paine for the title of the most beautiful mountains in the park. At 2600m (8500ft), 2400m (7900ft) and 2200m (2200ft), the different types of rocks that make up this massif create a stark, beautiful and multicolored contrast. A 700m (3000ft) wide granite block crosses the center of these uniquely shaped towers.

French Valley

This viewpoint in the middle of the W circuit has unparalleled views. To the west, Los Cuernos, Espada, Hoja and Máscara mountains can be seen. To the east, the French Glacier juts out from Paine Grande. To the north, the jagged peaks of Fortaleza and Aleta de Tiburón rise into the sky. The valley is immersed in a Nothofagus forest full of different species of trees and vegetation that produce a variety of flowers and change color during the fall.

Paine Grande Mountain

With its four summits, Paine Grande is recognized as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. The highest summit of the towers reaches 3050 m (10,000 ft), which makes it the highest mountain in the Cordillera Macizo Paine and also the most technically difficult mountain to climb in the entire Torres del Paine National Park.

Grey Glacier

It is the largest glacier in Torres del Paine National Park, measuring 6 km (4mi) wide, 30 m (100ft) high and 19 km (12mi) long. Its floating icebergs and glacial moraines are as picturesque as the glacier itself, which falls from Campos de Hielo Sur. To see this imposing ice formation up close, you can take a boat ride, kayak tour or ice hiking excursion.

Itinerary W Circuit Express 4 Days – 3 Nights

Day 1: Transportation by regular bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine/Trekking to Base Torres, lodging in Central Sector (Click here to see the transportation schedules).

Day 2: Trek to French Sector and lodging.

Day 3: Trekking to Valle del Francés, lodging in French Sector.

Day 4: Trekking to the first viewpoint of Grey Glacier and return by Catamaran* by Pehoe Lake to return to Puerto Natales (*Monday to Sunday: 10:30 hrs from Pudeto and return at 17:00 hrs from Paine Grande).
