Torres del Paine, August 16, 2024 – Las Torres Patagonia continues to fine-tune the details of what will be its 2024-2025 season. Along with remodeled rooms at Hotel Las Torres, new sustainability projects and the continuation of the reconstruction of the trail to Base Torres, the company will add new leadership to its management team.

As of September 1, 2024, Paula Valdés, a professional with more than 20 years in the tourism industry, will take over as resident manager of Hotel Las Torres, leading the various teams responsible for hospitality and guest experience.

Paula Valdés has extensive experience in inbound tourism destinations, managing luxury resorts, leading multidisciplinary teams and working with local communities and authorities. Continuing with her career, in 2006 she assumed the position of assistant manager and excursions manager at Hotel Awasi Atacama, and then continued to grow professionally and accepted the challenge of leading the excursions department and assistant manager at Hotel Tierra Atacama. Finally, her outstanding career led her to become hotel manager at Hotel Tierra Patagonia in 2013.

“We are very happy to welcome someone like Paula Valdés to the management of our hotel, we hope that her experience in the field will allow us to continue growing as a sustainable tourism proposal here in Torres del Paine. We extend a warm welcome to Paula,” commented the general manager of Las Torres Patagonia, Josian Yaksic.
