TRAILMAX Experience: Volunteering in Patagonia!

Group Size: 8 – 18 plus trip leaders –  Volunteer spots are now available for the upcoming season! Don’t miss the opportunity to join us and make a significant difference while being at the 8th wonder of the world.

The renowned Torres del Paine National Park in Chile has some of the most impressive mountains in the world. Visitors from around the globe travel to see this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and experience Patagonia’s finest trekking.

Restoring Base Torres, the national park’s main trail, is an unbeatable volunteer opportunity that contributes to Torres del Paine’s sustainability.

In alliance with ConservationVIP, a non-profit institution dedicated to restoring trails in emblematic destinations around the world, Las Torres is offering volunteer trips in Torres del Paine National Park to support a community dependent on its incredible trails.

Once a year, ConservationVIP brings a group of 18 volunteers to Torres del Paine for its Patagonia Volunteer Trip. This is your opportunity to make the Biggest Impact in a Season. Five days of trail work, a day of rest & exploration of Lago Grey, and then back to five more days of trail work…with a short day hike up to see the towers.

ConservationVIP experts will be in charge of operations in different Las Torres facilities, where volunteers will have unforgettable experiences at the Eighth Wonder of the World.

What is there to enjoy?

Las Torres

Among the most famous mountains in the world, these three granite peaks rise into the sky at 2,850 m (9,350 ft), 2,800 m (9,200 ft), and 2,600 m (8,500 ft). Molded by sheer glacial force, these are the impressive towers that give the park its name.

Teamwork and New Friendships

Join a group of volunteers who will hike and repair the Base Torres Trail. Since 2005, Conservation VIP ® has been bringing volunteers together to improve Torres del Paine’s hiking trails, protect an international treasure and build lasting friendships.

Help Thousands of People

Torres del Paine National Park has heavily-trodden trails which encroach on surrounding wildlife and habitats. Given its limited resources, the Torres del Paine community needs your help facing these challenges. Volunteers will work on trail construction and maintenance, contributing significantly to this wonderful landscape’s protection so everyone can continue enjoying it.
